Common questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. You can use the Free plan with no subscription and no time limit, add books, build your author page and share your link. A paid subscription is optional and only unlocks extra features and higher limits.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Creating an account and using the Free plan never asks for card details. You only enter payment when you choose a paid plan.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing page. Changes take effect right away, with pro-rata billing handled automatically.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
You get exactly the same features either way. Yearly is billed once a year at a lower effective price than paying month by month.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Cancel from Billing at any time. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves back to the Free plan.
Will I lose my books or data if I downgrade or cancel?
No. Your books, author page, collections and analytics all stay in place. Only the paid-only features become unavailable until you upgrade again.
How do the buy buttons work?
Every book links through a smart redirect that sends each reader to their local Amazon store, so a UK reader lands on Amazon.co.uk and a US reader on Amazon.com. An Amazon affiliate tag is added automatically.
Do I earn the Amazon affiliate commission?
On plans that include your own affiliate codes, you add your Amazon Associates tag in Settings and your links use it, so you keep 100% of the commission. On other plans the platform tag is used instead. Either way, setting up your own codes is optional.
Which countries and Amazon stores are supported?
Readers are automatically routed to their local Amazon in the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Canada and Australia. Readers anywhere else are sent to Amazon.com.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Any applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout.
