Feature requests and voting

Missing a feature? Suggest it, and vote for ideas from other authors, the most-wanted ideas rise to the top of the list and get picked up first.

Suggesting an idea

  1. Open Feature Requests in the left menu and check the list first, maybe your idea is already there (then vote for it instead).

  2. Click "New idea", give it a short clear title and describe what problem it would solve for you.

  3. Submit. Everyone can now open your idea, read the details and vote for it.

How voting works

  • Click the arrow button on any open idea to vote for it; click again to take your vote back.

  • You have 3 votes. They are not gone forever: as soon as an idea you voted for is closed (done or rejected), that vote returns to you automatically.

  • Ideas are sorted by votes, so voting genuinely influences what gets built next.

Managing your own requests

You can delete your own request at any time with the trash icon, for example when it turns out to be already possible, or when you filed it as a quick bug note that has been resolved. Statuses (open, planned, done, rejected) are set by the team, so you can see what happened with your idea.
